Question: did you use 3x Osc without effects? That's a beginner's mistake.
Mixing is so much more than simply addings saws and sines. It's an entire science/philosophy.

Practice more with the envelope, equalizer and other stuff and it'll turnout more deep and appealing.

I only ever use 3x Osc for the white noise buildup effect. Everything else I believe used FLEX. A mistake I later remedied when I switched to using Sytrus and various Soundfonts.
